Hasib Rahman

Hasib lived in Bangladesh most of his life and obtained his medical degree in Bangladesh, after which he came to Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he continued his medical studies. He then moved to London, Ontario to complete his Internal Medicine Residency Training at Western University and was selected as Chief Resident in his concluding year of training.
Hasib is currently completing Gastroenterology fellowship at Western University and is additionally pursuing a Master’s degree at Dalhousie University; in which he is examining the treatment preferences for patients with pancreatic cancer. His research interests include sedations in colonoscopy and Hepatitis B association with hepatocellular carcinoma. He wishes to subspecialize in advanced endoscopy in the future.
In his spare time, Hasib is very outgoing and enjoys playing competitive soccer. His extracurricular interests also include extreme sports and traveling.
